The main aim of this seminar is to provide a space for reflection on the different socio-professional spaces in which social workers carry out their work processes. Considering that the world of work is changing and that, at the current stage of development of economic ultra-liberalism, public investment in social policies is increasingly scarce, which has a direct impact on the terminal execution of social policies, this CU aims to stimulate dialogue with students about the challenges relating to the professional practices of social workers in the most diverse professional fields.
Programme
1. The professional work of the social worker in health;
2. Social work and education: the contributions of social workers in the school field to promoting inclusive school environments;
3. The professional work of social workers in the field of justice and social reintegration;
4. The professional work of social workers in the solidarity and social security system;
5. Professional work with families;
6. Professional work with children and young people at risk.
Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the curricular unit's learning objectives
Considering that the UC will have a more flexible content to adapt to the groups of students, its coherence will derive from this adaptation to the groups of students, new social policies or significant changes in the problems or policies and resources made available socially.
